Long-Term Boarding at Complete K9 Care is designed for dogs staying longer than 3 weeks, offering a stable, structured environment that feels like a second home rather than a temporary stop. Dogs follow consistent daily routines for feeding, rest, exercise, and enrichment, which reduces stress and helps them settle comfortably for the duration of their stay.
Every long-term guest receives built-in enrichment sessions, ensuring both body and mind are actively engaged through a mix of physical activity, play, and age/ability-appropriate mental work. This is a core welfare standard, not an optional extra, so dogs aren’t just housed—they are meaningfully occupied and supported throughout their stay.
Long-term boarding is ideal for families facing extended travel, work assignments, or medical situations where regular care at home isn’t possible, but they still expect high-quality, relationship-based handling for their dog. Clear payment structures, a required deposit, and transparent policies around bookings and changes make planning straightforward, while regular updates help owners feel connected and reassured while they’re away.

| Food Supply | Regular food delivery can be arranged though most Pet Stores or Amazon. If you are feeding raw, please provide enough for 3+ weeks and we can arrange for pick up from our personal supplier |
| Vaccinations | Provide up-to-date vaccines (Rabies & DHPP) we accept titers as proof of vaccination. |
| Collar & Leash | Bring your pet secured on a flat or martingale collar with ID tags and a sturdy leash. |
| Customer Form | If it’s been over one year since your last service, complete the “New Customer” form online for updated pet info. |
| Arrival Time | Please arrive for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals are subject to a $25 late fee. We do not accept appointments outside of our kennel hours, and we cannot guarantee an alternate time. |
| Booking Changes | Please notify us immediately and we will do our best to make accommodations (though we cannot guarantee anything). Last-minute cancellations (anything less than 72 hours notice) will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. |
| Credit Card Policy | All bookings require a credit card on file, though you can choose to pay via cash or e-transfer for your service. Any payment made by credit card is subject to a processing fee of 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction which is non-refundable. |
| Deposit Policy | If we have not received your deposit withing 24 hours of receiving your invoice, your credit card will be automatically charged the deposit amount. |
For long-term boarding stays of 21 days or more, a 25% deposit of the total estimated stay is required at the time of booking to reserve your dog’s spot; no reservation is confirmed until this deposit is received and the boarding agreement is signed. For stays under 30 days, the remaining balance is due at drop-off. For stays 30 days or longer, the stay is billed in 30-day blocks, and each block must be paid in full at the start of that block. A credit card on file is required for all bookings, but you may pay by cash or e-transfer if arranged ahead of time. Any extra days added during the stay must be paid on or before pick-up, and overdue accounts may be charged late fees. All long-term stays include our enrichment add-on (built into the daily rate at a reduced price) as part of our ethical commitment to your dog’s physical and mental well-being during extended boarding.
