Board & Train is an immersive training program where your dog lives with us at our licensed Kennels while receiving daily, hands-on training from our professional trainers. This allows us to build new habits through consistency, structure, and repetition before teaching you how to maintain those behaviours at home.

We work with a wide range of behavioural challenges, including basic obedience, leash pulling, poor impulse control, jumping, recall, reactivity, dog aggression, human aggression, anxiety, and other complex behavioural issues. Every training plan is customized to your dog’s individual needs.

Board & Train provides your dog with consistent daily training in a controlled environment, free from the distractions and inconsistencies that often slow progress with weekly lessons. This intensive approach allows us to build reliable behaviours much more efficiently while addressing the root cause of the problem, not just the symptoms.

Our minimum Board & Train program for teenager -adult dogs is four weeks. Depending on your dog’s goals and progress, additional time may be recommended to ensure lasting results.

Yes, but training doesn’t end when your dog goes home. We’ll teach you how to communicate effectively with your dog and maintain the behaviours they’ve learned. Your involvement is essential for long-term success.

We can guarantee your dog will receive professional, consistent training while in our care. Lasting results, however, depend on the consistency you provide at home. It’s no different than working with a personal trainer, you’ll make incredible progress together, but maintaining those results is up to you. We’ll give you the knowledge and tools to succeed but you still have to do the work.

Definitely not! Dogs form strong bonds with their owners, and a few weeks apart won’t change that. In fact, we’ve had newly adopted dogs come to us for Board & Train after spending only a few days with their new family, and they still recognized and were excited to see them when they returned. Your dog may build a great relationship with their trainer, but you’ll always be their person.

Absolutely. Training doesn’t change your dog’s personality, it simply helps them learn better habits and clearer communication. They’ll still be the same goofy, affectionate, energetic, or quirky dog you know and love, just with more confidence, better manners, and a stronger understanding of what’s expected of them.

Absolutely! We provide regular progress updates every Wednesday so you can follow your dog’s training journey and see how they’re progressing throughout the program.

Yes! We welcome all breeds and work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and backgrounds. We don’t believe a dog’s breed determines whether they can be trained or succeed. Instead, we evaluate each dog as an individual, considering their temperament, history, and behaviour to develop a training program tailored specifically to their needs.

Before your dog graduates, you’ll participate in a comprehensive go-home lesson where we’ll teach you everything your dog has learned and show you how to maintain those behaviours at home.

Yes! Every graduate receives a Go-Home Package that includes a Certificate of Completion, a detailed Behaviour Assessment, training instructions, and guidance on using your training equipment.

Yes. We provide complimentary post-training support and guidance to help you maintain your dog’s progress and answer any questions that arise after graduation.

We’re here to support you long after your dog goes home. If you need additional guidance or a refresher, on-site follow-up lessons are provided at no additional cost.
