DOG DAYCARE
When we set out to build our daycare, we knew it had to reflect the same philosophy that guides our training. As professional dog trainers that specialize in Behaviour, our priority has always been improving a dog’s quality of life and that starts with a healthy and happy state of mind.
Over the years, we’ve worked with countless dogs whose behavioural challenges have been made worse by daycare environments focused on constant excitement and endless stimulation. While exercise and socialization are undoubtedly important, dogs also need opportunities to regulate, decompress, and simply be dogs. Without that balance, chronic over-arousal can contribute to poor impulse control, difficulty settling, and increased reactivity in some dogs.
Our daycare is designed different. Through structured play, breed and character specific enrichment, appropriate rest, and professional supervision, we’ve created an environment that supports both the physical and mental wellbeing of every dog.
We don’t just want dogs to go home tired. We want them to go home fulfilled and excited to come back.

FAQ’s
We keep a credit card on file as a safety net. It allows us to enforce our policies regarding late cancellations, no-shows, late pick-ups, and, in rare cases, dogs that are not picked up as scheduled. We hope we never have to use it, but having a card on file helps us protect our staff, our business, and the dogs in our care.
Yes! We offer discounted 10-day packages for both Full Day and Half Day Programs, saving you $5 per day compared to our regular daily rates.
One of our on-site professional dog trainers will meet with you and your dog before introducing them to a small number of carefully selected dogs. We’ll assess their behaviour, social skills, and overall suitability to ensure they’re a good fit for our daycare and the environment we’ve created.
If your dog doesn’t pass the assessment, it simply means they aren’t likely to thrive in a daycare environment. Every dog is different, and daycare isn’t the right fit for everyone. Our goal is to set your dog up for success, not force them into an environment where they won’t be happy.
We don’t have a minimum age requirement. As long as your dog has received their initial DHPP/DH2PP vaccination and is up to date on their rabies vaccination (where age-appropriate), they’re welcome to register for an assessment.
- Dogs attending daycare must be current on their Rabies vaccination, as required by our municipal licensing, as well as DHPP/DH2PP. We do not require the Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine, as it does not protect against all strains.
No. We assess every dog based on their individual temperament and behaviour, not their reproductive status. However, female dogs in heat are not permitted to attend daycare and may return once their heat cycle has completely finished.
For most dogs, just bring them in leashed, we’ll take care of the rest! If your dog requires medication, has food allergies or sensitivities, or can only have specific treats, please bring enough for the day along with any feeding or medication instructions.
Yes! Subject to availability, you can reserve the same days each week. Once your dog has passed their assessment, you’ll receive access to your Pet Parent Portal, where you can purchase daycare packages or individual days and manage your bookings online.
It depends on the day! Weather permitting, we spend as much time outdoors as we safely can. When the weather isn’t suitable, your dog will enjoy our spacious, indoor play area, ensuring they have a fun, safe, and enriching day regardless of the forecast.
It depends on the individual dog and their specific needs. We’ll discuss any medical, physical, or behavioural considerations during the assessment to determine whether our daycare is the right fit and whether we can safely meet your dog’s needs.
While we take every precaution to provide a safe environment, there are inherent risks in any daycare setting. If your dog becomes sick or sustains a minor injury, we’ll contact you right away to discuss the situation and determine the best course of action. In the event of a medical emergency, we’ll seek immediate veterinary care and notify you as soon as possible.
No. In fact, as trainers, we’re probably more selective than most daycares. We believe in doing what’s best for the individual dog, and for some, a daycare environment simply isn’t the right fit. Our assessment process helps us determine whether your dog is likely to thrive in group daycare or if another option would better support their wellbeing.
